WISE betrokken bij opzetten DiGRA Flanders
DiGRA is een internationale organisatie die mensen van overal ter wereld,
die onderzoek verrichten op het gebied van digitale computerspellen en
andere gerelateerde domeinen, bij elkaar brengt. Ook in België zijn er meer
en meer mensen die actief zijn in dit onderzoeksgebied. Deze activiteiten
zijn echter verspreid over de verschillende universiteiten. Een groepje
personen van verschillende Vlaamse universiteiten, inclusief WISE-lid Bram
Pellens, hebben daarom hun krachten gebundeld en een speciale Vlaamse
deelgroep opgericht van DiGRA. Deze deelgroep geeft ons een platform om
discussie, samenwerking en netwerken mogelijk te maken. Recent is deze groep
officieel geaccepteerd als een speciale deelgroep van de internationale
DiGRA-organisatie. Het WISE (Web en Information Systems Engineering)
onderzoekslabo is trots om mede te delen dat ook zij, met Bram Pellens, deel
uitmaken van de Vlaamse deelgroep van DiGRA.

WISE involved in setting up DiGRA Flanders
DiGRA is an international organization grouping people from all over the
world who do research in the area of digital games and other related areas.
Also in Belgium, more and more people are active in this area but still
scattered across different universities. A number of people from different
Flemish universities, including WISE member Bram Pellens, therefore combined
their efforts in setting up a Flemish Chapter of this organization. The
chapter provides a platform for discussion, collaboration and networking.
Recently, this group has been officially accepted as a special chapter by
DiGRA International. The WISE (Web and Information Systems Engineering)
Research Laboratory is proud to announce that, with Bram Pellens, they are
also part of this Flemisch Chapter of DiGRA.
